Wondering what every body thinks about a AO golf tournamemnt
( including what mods think ).....Maybe for a selected charity....

I am managing the pro shop at Rivers edge GC. east of Okotoks
for the upcoming season ....My wife said I was depressed just Hunting , Fishing , Golfing all the time so I had better get a job.....:argue2:

Just a thought maybe one in the north as well , then a prov...playoff.

IDEAS.....:snapoutofit:

I'm keen Winch, think we can get a day in the summer booked for a reasonable price? I am curious to know of any details you can provide.

Great idea man!

I would be interested for sure.

One idea for the tournament is to have guys register in a thread category they most often visit. IE Archery Fishing etc? That way one of the categories can claim a title. I understand that this creates much more work but I like the competition aspect of it.

You could follow-up the golf with unlicensed boxing. It would be as simple as adding the crossbow hunters to the archery class. :argue2:

Sounds great, played River's Edge last fall and had a ton of fun...and for added enjoyment we could try this...

How about boxing first?
Everyone that wants to golf put 50 in a pot, the winner of the North vs the winner from the South go 18 holes for all the money!

I am also interested. Are we talking group scramble? Individual low gross, low net?

We're talking you 12 over and me draining that 56 footer for Eagle to put me in a 5 stroke lead ahead of the pack.

My suggestion would be keep it light and fun. Not a competitive event. Just a good ole AO get together.

I'll go a couple of rounds in the tee box with you Ken, then I'll take on Okie! ;)

It's that DubbCharter guy you have got to watch out for, I heard he pulled the Alberta record Sauger out of the water hazard on Glen Forest. Word has it he let it go to in a trade off: It fetched his lucky blue ball from the bottom of the lake, after an errant drive bounced off of Puddles' caddy.

I just bought new clubs yesterday.

Love a chance to try them out, depends on the date.

Got a little .17 HMR wedge for the gophers, just ignore the wide club cover sticking out of the bag.....:innocent:
