Carson and Wabamun report

Went to Carson on Sunday with a buddy, my father, and my brother, myself being the "guru." Set everyone up with shrimp on small trebles. Buddy of mine caught 4, the rest of us had a few hits, but nothing was hitting very aggresively. Seemed everyone was doing pretty slow. Left there at 2, and hit up Wab on the way home. Set up by the town, in about 6 FOW. Was walk or sled on only for sure IMHO. Other than 2 small perch, didnt see a thing. Windy as hell though. Planning to hit up Carson again soon... Was fishing about 30 FOW.

I fished carson on saturday and the fishing was awesome. All fish were over 14 inches except for a little 6 incher. Got 3 fish in 5 minutes. Then it kinda slowed down but you still caught fish every 10 minutes. Used shrimp for bait.

the wife and I were out on sun , fishing was fantastic , we limited out in 4 hrs , we fished in about 20 fow and used berkley power bait chartreus , all were 12-14 in :sHa_shakeshout:

Fish about 100 yards off shore and about 12 inches off the bottom, its usually about 20 feet of water. just about anything works there, maggots dew worms power bait, I personally use weighted flies and maggots. just aboutany type of ice fishing hooks tipped with bait seem to work.

Haha. Must have been in a no swim zone. Usually Carson is great. Maybe was a but deep...
