About two months ago, someone had posted something about their Ram truck bumpers rusting and if they woulf be covered under warranty. What was the scoop on that? Are they being warrantied by some dealerships? I went to visite my dealership for my 2010 3500 and they gave me the ol brush off. It's not rusting badly but you can tell that the chrome is blotching in one area as if it was galvanizing. Weird!

I was told that dodge was working on the problem and that the dealership was not supposed to be replacing these bumpers until something was figured out. The owner of the dealership told me that dodge was looking into the manufacturer of the bumpers to get to the bottom of this issue. For now everytime I get my oil changed or a service done, they polish my chrome for free. It is just surface rust but man with 30000kms on a 2010 3500 it sure is a **** off.

with the price of new trucks these days you think they would be bending over backwards to fix it. I guess its true, they screw you when you buy them new and they screw you on maintence, warranty and everything else.

Since 2003 the bumpers have been having a problem. They have yet to do anything about it.
