Fishing in Vegas

Heading to Vegas next week anyone fish down there? Looking for a good guide. Any tips would be great!

theres some good striper fishing from shore at lake mead and if i do recall i think we caaught some carp in that river outside of town. the stripers are wat lake mead is all about

Hit the bass pro shop at the silverton casino, they should be able to help you out for that, and its a hell of a nice store to look around....there's some big bass in that tank..

fished lake mead twice for strippers a few years back, had great success both times using a guide. it was june and july when we went, not sure how the seasons affect fishing. suggest you google and try and find a reputable guide to talk to down there.

IF you need to get to the Bass Pro SHops in Vegas.
If your staying on the strip.....
Go to the lower level of Ceasers . Its the Valet Parking venue.
The shuttle bus from the Silverton comes there 2 to 3 times a day and takes you directly to the front doors of the Bass Pro Shop.
They also do the return trip 2 or 3 times daily . Call the Silverton for details.
The Gals at the Bass Pro dont even know that the shuttle exists !!!

Enjoy the visit.... The BPS in Vegas advertises that they are the biggest
one out there... I dont know for sure. Its the only one I have been in
and its great.

Fished with Capt. Kevin Durham 4 years ago, best thing about my vegas trip,caught Stripe bass,he had all the gear 8h on the water big ranger bay boat lots of fishable space,great guide got to see a black hawk helicopter doing touch and goes on a big rock in the middle of lake,Lake mead marina had some good food and coors ,and the carp around the marina are like ducks coming to the surface for people too feed them, have my wife on video liping a10lb carp

Stop by Reno .. Pyramid lake just outside biggest Cutthroats(Lahontan) in the world used to be there .. and some very nice still.. Guides available.. right now is good as they are staging(spawn) at creek.. bring ladder.. have fun

In 1998 I walked into the fly shop in the Rio Hotel. Don't know if the shop is still there. On the wall was a 38lb stripped bass taken from Lake Mead. I was back in 2010, and thought about going out. Unfortunately it was July and the low temp was 45C, which mean't my thin Alberta blood would have to take a pass. If you can...get out there and revenge me.

was out on lake mead with captian ron in 2009 stripper fishing in april caught strippers and catfish was great trip . i booked him off of the internet web site.
