Young man wants job

My nephew just got here from NS & is looking for work. He is 19 & has a hoisting ticket from an industrial school down there. This ticket is the first step to becoming a crane operater so he would prefer a job with a crane company [swamper on a picker truck] but will work at anything. This is a hard working guy that knows the difference between a shovel & a hammer & can use them both

I'm in Red Deer but he will go wherever the job is. Camp job would be fine.
He also has a place to stay in Calgary.

Tell him to get ahold of flint or moko. our last rig move was done by moko supervisor said they cant find guys anywhere and if they do find people most dont make the week.

He has a resume in at Flint & about 3 dozen other places here in RD.
I have never heard of moko. Where are they from?
I know that breakup is happening & road bans are on in most counties but someone still needs help. Thanks for any leads.

Tell him to take some time and head up to Nisku, drive around the park and drop off resumes. He shouldn't have an issue with finding places hiring.

We have a turn around coming up next month at work out at Joffre and I know our scaffolding contractor is really hurting for folks. I don't know if he's interested in scaffolding but it will give him some good exposure to lots of other trades and lifts as well. If you check JV Drivers web site i'm sure they'll have a posting.
