I am not saying for fishing but I have been out in the boat in Burntstick many times and seen people paddling these things around the lake. They appear to move much better than paddling around as far as speed goes. They probably would work ok on a small lake where all you did was cast or jig. If you are thinking one of these check out Bushmaster53 ad in the buy and sell section if still available. He is selling one like new with an electric motor I believe. Same company etc.

i've used them on small private ponds to drag flys. they work well. teamed up you can take turns rowing. kids ride for free in the back too!!
