Spring, Springers on the Columbia

Went down to Portland last week to visit the Lad and my Granddaughter. We had a recommendation to go with Marv McQuinn (excellent guide) and we fished the Columbia for Chinooks. The fishing was slow but we managed to boat two nice Springs 18 and 22 Lbs according to Marv. We Trolled cut plug Herring with inlne flashers off an 8 oz ball dropped from a 3way sliding swivel. I though I had brought Spring home with me but I guess not.
