Where you located? Can't make to a shop to test any?

I have an idea of what I want, there are no shops close buy that I can make it to. Nearest shop is almost 2 hours away.

Bass Pro Shops, The Fishin' Hole, Wholesale Sports.

Pretty sure they will all ship to you and probably have the brand you're looking for.

Bear's Den Fly Fishing Co is a great site and carry all the major brands. if you are looking for a hardy or a greys then harrissportsmail is another good site and sometimes have some pretty smoking deals.

I agree. I was at their booth at the boating show, and their rods are really nice. http://pierowayrods.com/PRBlog/

I'm sure Mikey from Southbow (http://www.southbow.ca/)will be glad to help you out. He'd be more than happy to talk your face off about rods and fly fishing.

Has anyone tried or owns this rod here? If so how did you like it?
I have never tried a pieroway rod yet

I hooked up with Pieroway at the Edmonton Show based on recommendations by friends in the same industry as me...

Just today I was building an order for some of their Tactical Fast Action Series for our Retail Shop (http://www.tofinofishing.com/jaysflytackleshop/index.php) and I will also be using a couple of the 8 wts for Coho this Summer on our Salt-Fly charters (http://www.tofinofishing.com/sal****erflyfishing/index.php)...

Looking like an excellent product for the price range, and Canadian.....No borders brokerage, duty and probably fast on shippping and warranty claims.

Hillhunter, I'm sure you will be able to find a shop not too far away that carries these so you can get a grip on one to see for yourself, and your feedback will be appreciated. As a retailer and outfitter I know I like what I see so far with Pieroway.

I have a 5wt method rod and 8wt military series (before it was released to the public:tongue2: ). I love them both. I caught a decent white on the military today. For the price I dont think they can be beat.
