My wife and I have a 16ft fiberglass canoe that we've used a bit.
I'm looking at picking up an inflatable boat. What I'd really like is one of these. http://www.soar1.com/soar_16.htm
We're headed to the Kootenays this summer for about two weeks, and hoping to spend a lot of time out on the water floating / swimming / fishing with my wife and our lab Duke.
I was thinking about just getting a walmart special dingy, but thought maybe we should look at something a little more durable.
Thoughts? We are not going on any really large lakes, just a few of the smaller ones in the Fort Steele area. I have no interest in lugging our tank of a canoe all the way out there, so inflatable is the best option for us I think.
If budget wasn't an issue, I'd be picking up a SOAR for sure, but at this point my range is probably only a few hundred bucks.
