Spring Lake Status

I have heard from a couple of sources in another thread that Spring Lake (aka Cottage Lake, aka Edmonton Beach) has winterkilled. I am sceptical because there is supposed to be aerators as far as I know.

Has anyone been out there recently with some first-hand knowledge?

I've heard the same thing. Seem that any smaller lake in the Edmonton area, aerated or not has winter killed. There's a thread somewhere on this.

Tried Spring with zero bites. I didn't have a camera to look for dead fish.

If there are aerators on the other side, the fish might be crowding around them.

Not looking good.
