most of the resivwors hold pike and walleye from shore.
example. raymond sugar factory ponds, raymond reivwor, henderson lake(kinda dead), nic sheron, and dont be affraid to go casting in the oldman river that goes through lethbridge just walk down streem to a ncie pool.
lures. anything you got in your tackle box for pike
walleye:stay in contact with bottom.so jigs deep down crankbaits in gold, silver, chartuse.

Do you live in lethbridge or Taber?

If you are near taber you could fish chin at the east end or under the bridge or the west end where it dumps into stafford or you could hit up sherburne. There is also sugar factory lake or horsefly right near taber that is always a good time for hammer handle size pike. The oldman river down at the municipal park has some decent fishing also. Or you could head to the forks.

For around lethbridge you have stafford, ridge, cross coulee, st.mary, keho, oldman river, henderson, nicholas sheran, and cpr just north of coaldale. Pm me if you need any other info and I will try to help you out.

the lures you choose for pke will change as the season goes on...if yur going right nwo they wont chase anything so use a jig and a minnow where bait is allowed, lator when the water warms up and there metlosim increases use faster lures. target black bottoms...the water will be warmer there and the pike will congreate int the shallows there

Park lake is really family friendly
Picture Butte lake is full of hammer handles for kids
Lost Lake canals are alot of fun for kids
Stonehill is shore fishing friendly
The area where the Little Bow and the Oldman River meet...is awesome fishing for many species.

Good call Darter, I forgot to mention a few of those. I knew I forgot a few but just couldn't think of which ones. There is alot of water in the Lethbridge area that holds fish.
