Why I am trying pike on the fly

pike are a blast on the fly, only fish in saskatchewan that has taken me well into my backing - we fish for them during the hot summer when they are shallow sunning themselves in the bays, that way we can site fish for them.

i have been lucky to fish for pike with fly rod on some great lakes you will love it good luck

planning on giving the flies a go soon as the ice is out, anyone want to come chop some big holes in Newell for me? :thinking-006:n I actually did catch a pike on one of Dark Aislings flies this winter through the ice, took a lot of practice to hit that 9 inch hole in the ice :sHa_sarcasticlol:

practice hitting pop cans... or just cut a bigger hole :D i prefer the second method haha
