Gloomis is a premium rod , they charge insane prices for their rods. That being said , don't think their entry level is any ware near their top model. So chubs experience with it is spot on.

Last rumour i heard was he was being sued by 2 companies.
I hope Shimano builds the Loomis rods weve all grown to like.

I use to have a Berkley rod that had the split grip I loved it , sadly decided that It wanted to commit suicide and rammed its self between the car door and car . SNAP it was a sad day . I really liked it for jiging .
You cant go wrong with a G Loomis rod either .

Darter did you hear why he was being sued and which companies were suing him? I am interested in finding out details to that one.

If thats the case your collection should sky rocket in price and you will have to redo your insurance. On the bright side you could be worth millions haha. I only have one loomis rod and its my 5 wt. fly rod.
I will text you my email tomorrow after I get home from physio and nich. sheran.

Have it, love it.
The best thing about it is that I can get my top piece replaced if the rod breaks or anything happens to it.
