I know one young kid caught a huge Rainbow in there off the dock , on a marshmallow a while back, I believe it was well over 10 pounds. I caught a fish I never did get to see in the Elbow upstream from Bragg Creek that straightened a big hook, probably a big Bull but that was a long time ago. There are big fish in there, just have to have a well placed horseshoe sometimes.

Come down a ways to just south of where the Deerfoot crosses the river just south of the Ivor Strong bridge. Lots of guys fish there and I know a buddy of mine catches several trout and whites between there and the area around the Sue Higgins footbridge quite regular.
