I acquired an old rod from my great grandfather a few years ago and just wondering on the value of the rod. It is still in the original packaging and has a pricetag of $1.95. I belive the rod is from the 40's or 50's. anyone ever seen these before?

keep it as-is, can you take a picture of it and what it's made of and a model number or name?

Is it a white fiberglass rod? Or wood? Yes, keep the tags on.

it willbe wood im sure fibre glass wasnt invertend in rods back then
