I landed a few browns only one worth taking a pic of...seen some bows sipping midges from a rock on shore. casted and spooked em to the faster current...
the browns was about 23-24inches could get an exact measure.
the other ones were between 18-20 no real size differnce they all kinda looked the same being all females with no kype of color.

Was at that spot today for a bit...long story short...got snagged, got it released...great right!? Well within the next few casts I hooked into something HUGE...thinking it was a Rainbow..but since I was snagged shortly before my drag was still set too tight...Fack! Then after about a minute and a half of fighting this fish...BAM, line snapped! Dammit! I retied and thank god for having a second of the indentical lure, I set out to catch him again...but he was stung and wasnt in the mood for round two.

Moral of the story; check your line and retie after a snag and also rest your drag!

the hook wasnt eevn close to his eye the hooks were small and trbeld so it was just barly snugged in there. the damaged that i did do when i set the hook the line rapped around his head once because of the drift i presented and where he was feeding.

Nice Browns. Congrats. When it comes to fishing for browns, you certainly are one of the masters at catching them.

BTW, if you ever get the chance to swing by Obed lake near Hinton, you should give it a try. There are some big browns in that lake. I hear that lake can be difficult. I have fished there and didn't even get a bite. I'm sure with your brown trout catching skills though, you wouldn't fair bad.

nice fish kid. two questions. why is there not a black midge in the corner of the fishes mouth? cold is not an excuse, you were man enough to be out there. and why didn't you offer to guide me and the old guy for a few hours while you were down here?

Nice fish. It looks like you might need to squish your barbs down a bit further at the end of your lure. Wouldn't want you to get into trouble.
