I was going to buy a Hobie Outback, but that $300 price difference when our dollar is hovering around $1.03 has me gritting my teeth.

I see this price differential, and all the token excuses that go with these differences on a lot of outdoor and everyday products in Canada.

I can wait if they want to change their prices, or I can go without.

Basspro.ca takes you to a site that only displays in US funds, eventhough they have locations in Canada.

Their posted price differential between many items is arrogant and tiresome to deal with when using their site. Added to the fact they rarely stock any of the larger items, unless you can find them on the shelf. I have been there three times to buy three different things that they had display models of, clearly marked for sale - only to not have any stock in the item I wanted. They did not offer to sell me the demo model.

Booo Pro has earned my two thumbs down.
