no just looking for some good fly or reel fishing spots with a little bit of hiking.

well you can hike up and down to bow river on the south end of calgary till your hearts content. the flowing waters in the back county won't open till mid june. the options then are limitless. lots of good fishing to be had in the bow.

Lower Kananaskis Lake is pretty good for a hike and some fishing.

Prime example of why there should be a test before anyone is allowed to buy a fishing license in alberta. Read the regs (they come with the License for a reason)

you don't get the regs if you buy online.

that is why i posed the question of the auger. i was going to suggest the k lakes or spray in k country. if it's a little exercise and a fish your after, the walk out onto spray right now is still quite the workout.
