Anyone know how to fish the bow for sauger. its on my list of fish i need to catch. tips, locations or any help at all would be appreciated.

try places that hold a better amount of walleye then fish the same way you do for walleye only a tad smaller.

Where on the bow would that be. Thats the main problem i'm having

id try the sasckatchewan river or the redddeer river

ugh that is what i was fearing. i hear the NSR is good for them, but if anyone knows any spots in the bow that would save me a lot of effort.

never even heard one story of someone catching a sauger on the bow..... only times I've ever caught a sauger have been from the red deer river... and wasn't targeting them at the time or anything like that, just fishing for walleye and pike. they'll take the same lures, toughest part will be finding where they are!

the Milk was full of them when i was kid...that was a long time ago
the Oldman and the St Marys river has sauger
