Power Pro Shelf Life

Quick question here, how long does Power Pro last if it's never been used, or is only slightly used? I've got some that I've used very lightly that's close to 3 years old, and some other stuff that's around 5. I'm assuming it's fine, but has anyone had any troubles with it getting older?

just do some tests... figure out if you'd trust it or not... not like its a dairy product.....

In the spring summer and most of the fall I fish nearly everyday . My baitcasters have Power Pro and nothing but , I change them out every 2 years , after that I notice it gets kind of weak and starts to snap . The year you change 14 reels is Expensive .
