anyone been around blood indian ,wondering how much ice is off ,if theres enough room to flip a fly around for a trout yet. thinking of heading out sunday.

Hey guys was in the area last weekend and only the north end was partially open, not sure what it will be like this weekend with the warmer weather we had this week, I will most likely be out there on sunday to see whats happenin. 338 it probably isint worth taking the boat out there imo i cant see the whole lake opening up within a week but you never know... Hope this helps:)

dont think a boat can be launched quite yet. lots of places from shore to fish though

Was there today and its 90% clear , just a bit in south end, fishing was really slow.

out there today buddy & our two sons had a good day caught 5 in fiive hours largest one about 3.5# .cought on flies & spoons .only the south 10% covered ,small spoons going through ice should be gone very soon...

Just got back from there. No ice on the lake. Stayed there for 3 days. Last two days were too windy to do much fishing. Caught 3 fish lost a couple of others but fighting the wind most of the time.
