I noticed that the water is very muddy down stream of the Wier project. When the heck are they going to be done with that? I hope soon.

It's actually a Crowsnest Rainbow in case you were wondering.

Yes, we drove down on that highway yesterday morning. Caught it between the falls and the colleries.

Yeah, I recognized that spot immediately hahaha. Nice one. Water sure is high and stained huh? Fished for a couple hours the other day and caught 1 beautiful rainbow and didnt get a bite the rest of the day.

Wow, with a little less spotting up front and with that yellow ish colour you would think that was a westslopes cutty. I'm itching for some southern Alberta cutty dry fly action. Might be a little late this year with the snow pack.

Going to float St Mary's river for the first time in mid July. Heard some great things about it.

Congrats on the fish Cowtown Guy.
I didnt know you fly fished..... You may have to bring your rod up to my trout pond if you ever make it up bird hunting.

Congrats on the fish Cowtown Guy.
I didnt know you fly fished..... You may have to bring your rod up to my trout pond if you ever make it up bird hunting.

I used to be on the river 100 days a year when I lived in Ogden. I could walk to the river from my house then and my waders and rod never left my truck.

I have actually been considering guiding on the river lately. I need a change in careers and that is something I know I'd be good at.

On another note I didn't know you had a trout pond. Rainbows I presume? With the schedule at BPS I can figure out exactly when I am working ahead of time. I get every second weekend off and the rest is on a rotation so I have more free time than before. The birds will be behind my bead this year for sure.
