Yea weaselhead sucks right now because of low water levels and last years weeds however it is sick later on in the season because the two channels meet there ( you can see it on google earth). I fished closer to the boat club by the south glenmore park playgroud. Try that spot :)

That is just the way Glenmore is. It has always been a slow fishery. It is very common to go for 2 hours without a bite. This place requires alot of patience, but when you do catch a fish, they tend to be of very good quality in terms of overall size and health. It just takes plenty of effort in terms of hours fishing.

You should probably check the regs before posting on here, Just sayin.:sign0161:

why, what do you see that is an issue here RTR??? he caught this on May 1st, opening day? I remember him posting it in a different thread on the 1st saying "today I caught..." Barbs are pinched, not using illegal bait, I think he mentioned releasing it. and if he didnt that wouldnt be illegal. No visual signs of him fishing within the illegal distance of the dam. so I am not sure what you think he needs to check the regs for?

google south glenmore park.

it's only a 5-10 min walk depending on how fast you walk down the hill.

lots of parking you don't have to pay for.

Some people are lazy and think it's too long of a walk..lol I walk from Crowfoot and Glenmore to get there......To me the destination is more important than the length of the trip.

I'd have to agree but the one guy said to me in a private msg it's hard for him to get around due to a disability.

But the destination is important!

Which bridge? the bridge on sw glenmore trail or the bridge on glenmore bridge rd sw? It's legal there to go fishing under/beside the bridge?

thanks.

Umm whichever bridge on Glenmore that is first going west of Chinook....As for legalities I don't know of anything stating you can't fish under the bridge, but it's likely you'd lose a lot of tackle that way.

If you're heading west on glenmore from chinook I'm talking about the bridge that's just before the two golf courses.....there's an opening on the S.E side of the bridge...sorry I'm not good at explaining things...

hmm can't figure out how to capture a google picture......

There is an opening in the fence next to the brown shack there, the hospital is just beyond the trees on the left upper corner the view is looking south and the dam is to the north of this spot...hope that helps...

BF, if you're interested in a bit of adventure, walk up the shore toward the boat launch in a few weeks time.

Head up the hill to the wooden horse fence of Heritage Park's. About 50 yards away there's a long running coyote den. I was within a few feet of the 5 pups a number of times last year. Could be a fun trek for you and your daughter.
