I fished it from various spots on shore along Hwy 11 and always been successful. Typically throw larger spinners like number 5's and will catch lake trout or rainbows. Water is deep and typically clear during most the year. Early season heavy runnoff will cause creek spill ways into the lake to be muddy.

While it looks clean, it is in fact incredibly silty (being glacial fed) and hence has poor visibility. It's also a very dangerous lake with extreme winds and lots of submerged rock ledges/trees.
