Forestry Trunk Road trip 2010 Pictures

Well here is one of many trips last year to the forestry trunk road south of robb Alberta, we traveled to pembina fork and stayed there a night then off to nordegg trout ponds to catch some lunch and dinner, then we fished almost all creeks and lakes, was a great time, fished all the way towards the ram falls, even saved a big toad from curtin death on the lovett river,lovett lake was the best hike in lake i ever fished, although every fish was lost, wasnt prepared for such huge monsters there.

Great Pix. I like hiking to the good spots too. From where you park, how far is Lovett lake? Silksone is nearby there also, right? Thanks for info.

Awesome pics. I believe hands down that the forestry trunk area is one of the most scenic areas of the province. I've always wanted to fish those remote trout lakes there as well as go ATV riding around the "famous" sand pits and to explore lots of the backcountry around there. I still have many great memorys of camping arond the forestry trunk when I was little.

Lovette lake, one of the most relaxed places i have ever fished, huge fish in this lake
