Camp 9 Trout Pond

Hey Everyone;

Last summer I spent a very muddy afternoon roaming through the trails by Alder Flats looking for "Camp 9 Trout Pond".

I really want to check this pond out so was hoping that someone could share with me some directions to find it.

Camp 9 is located southwest of Alder Flats. Go pass the Rose Creek staging (camping) area until you get to the pipeline. Turn south for about 15km, you'll pass a gas plant, stay on the main road and you run right into it.

Is the fishing supposed to be decent there? I hunt in the area but have never thought to bring along a rod.

Tons of chubby little rainbows. If you go beginning of the year you will catch quite a few. Near summer the lake is really weedy and the rainbows like to hide in the weeds..
