Hi all,
I have been searching the internet trying to find ANY campsites along the NSR with very little luck. Found a couple near Elk point and Heinsburg but not much else. Small and quiet would be best. I also would like to stay in alberta but the further away (west) from edmonton, the better!
Any tips?
Thanks.
right by nordegg at the nsr awsome camp sites there right along the river with not that many people around, and the fishing is great.

And by WEST... I meant EAST... wow, sorry I got fishing on the brain.
i dont know any places east, but out west we catch whitefish, walleye, pike, all by noredegg, then by the city here walleye and pike suckers and goldeye, i would imagine there are places east though outside the city.
yes i sent you an email back as well, and the NSR is picking up, so many nice sized walleye and pike being caught now.
i cant wait to get out to lovett lake and fish, the most beauty lake i have ever fished in Alberta located on the forestry trunk road with a nice 1 hour hike in cant keep em off and there like footballs and no one fishes there, didnt see any activity when i went of fishing traffic, cant wait..
