Sask ups Regional park and launch fees

Dad went down to get his park and launch pass today at Nipawin. Everything went up. Park is $40 and launch went up to $30. And on opening day there was only one dock in. River is extremely high and fast so he didn't fish. He was told peak would be Thursday. Food for thought if anyone was heading that way.

has anyone been to the Nipawin river lately? curious to know if the water level has come down yet? anyone fish in the premiers cup?

Waters very nice with lots of tiny fish and some bigger ones thrown in. Pike fishing on the lake was also good.

Water levels are normal and clear. Big fish have been going crazy in the river this week. Yesterday with 2 in the boat we got 8 fat walleye between 58 and 74 cm in just a few hours and today Nicole and I got 8 eyes between 54 and 68cm. We would have got a lot more big eyes today but I snagged a 62 inch Sturgeon that ate up 2 1/2 hours of prime walleye time.
