I plan on taking the family for a week or so where is the best place to camp that has good swimming a boat launch and sites that are close to the water.Thanks for any info in advance.

Check out Douglas Provincial Park. It has all the services you need for camping and is very close to the water and has a boat launch. should have everything you need.

I found a little map for you. Just zoom in on the lake and select what you are looking for on the right hand side of the map. Then click apply choices in the bottom right corner of map. All the campgrounds will show up for you. From there you should be able to get contact info and perhaps even make reservations if you like.
