thinking about heading to brazeau resevour on friday for the day to see if i can hook into some pike and maybe a few bull trout fly fishing, any one have any pointers for areas to target/flies to use, will be using a 9wt for pike and a 6 wt for trout

It seems odd for brazeue to be low at this time of year but perhaps they are keeping reservior levels low so there is a lot of capacity to help prevent flooding from the extra spring melt this year.:thinking-006:

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the spring snow pack studies in the mountains have been done. I figure there is a lot of water waiting to come down into the NSR basin.

Come late June and early July the NSR damns might be pretty full.

The two NSR reservoirs are rather empty right now.
