Hey guys just thought it would be interesting to start a thread about your dream fishing destination anywhere in the world. My would have to be wolf lake lodge in the Yukon for monster grayling on the Wolf River. What's yours?

Been to Wolf twice, it is truely an amazing place with 2 of the nicest people you will ever meet. Wes and Michelle are wonderful people and really do go out of their way to accommodate you. Can't wait to go again. And yes, the wolf river is incredible for the grayling, and the lake holds some huge lakers and pike.

Never fished bass with anything more than 8lb, and usually on light weight like 2-4lb

Walleye and musky were 12lbs.

Bass don't need harnesses or heavy line.

I must be fishing them wrong then because we used big gears and heavy leaders so they don't cut the line with their teeth.

Yeah and I have always fished bass with 20lb braid...you hook a big bass in the sticks and you have to be able to horse him out real fast or he will mess you up!

I lived in Maine for 12 years...the penobscot river has to be one of the best smallmouth fisheries on planet earth. We would go out for 3 hours and catch at least 30 each, lots of them 18-22". If you fly fish at all the upper penobscot (west branch) in the mountains is the best landlocked salmon fishing I have ever experienced as well.

Ive been lucky to fish many places but the Columbia Gorge is still the bestest mostest greatest place on earth to me....Not just for the awesome salmon, walleye and sturgeon fishing but for the sheer beauty.
I always wanted to try Tuna fishing off Nova Scotia, but my body has passed the ability to confront that challenge.

I'd be quite happy with going to the coast and flyfishing coho on the salt water.
Although, I think it was Taimen, they were tying on gophers on a 14wt and pitching them in a Russian river on a vid link from Cabelas? That looked like fun.
