So I'm still sort of in the market for a low profile baitcaster to mess around with chucking hardware on the NSR.
I just saw that TFH has the Quantum Burst on for half price.
Now after the failure of the Quantum Code I have I'm becoming quite leery of Quantum reels. That being said, an $80 reel for $40 is a bit of an incentive. Have any of you baitcaster guys ever used this unit?
I'd set myself about a $100 limit on a new reel. If this reel is half decent I could afford to buy two and have a spare...but if it's not then I'd rather put my pennies towards a Shimano or something else reliable that I'd be happy with.
