newell or brooks area????

jus wondering if anybody has been out to newell or arond the brooks area, how is the ice and fishing if anybodya has gone out lately. planning to go out x-mass day

Theres lots of people diving on the north end of Newell has been for almost 2 weeks. Not sure the exact thickness but Rock Lake north of the dump has 14" of good ice.
