Finding big pike at Wabamun

This year I'm determined to hit a 30 lb+ gator at Wab.:shark: As of now, I'm targeting sharp drop offs from weedy or rocky flats of from 3-5 FOW, dropping into 20 FOW. Having a tough time trying to find a bigger, solid weedbed with a drop off. Usually they just taper off. Hit 3 pike on saturday with the biggest being about 8 lbs. Tried a variety of lures, shooting to keep presentation in about 10 FOW. Tried in front of both power plants, but 2 out of 3 fish were caught by a drop off by Fallis. Using no 4 Thompsons, big Musky Buck and Vibrax spinners, and big plugs and softbaits.

Where, and what type of a structure should a guy be targeting this time of year?

right now the pike should be chassing the minnows into realy shallow water and same with the eyes.
try and locate a school of minnows and your good untill the water warms up more.
shallow sand flats any streams that run into it. weedbeds with openings for ambuh points?

the really big pike wont be to far from the whitefish.
