What an awsome day on the NSR, caught over 20 walleye biggest was 8 pounds, and snagged plenty more by accident, was probably 10 people throughout the day at the spot i was fishing, most of the people were catching fish, the water is still rising alot, would suspect its going to continue to rise like it did the 2005 flood, but the fish seem to be loving it, going again tomorrow afternoon hope to see some folks out there, and remember walleye are c$r gluck:sHa_shakeshout:

my buddie will tag me in more of todays fish later tonight i hope, or tomorrow, i havent caught fish like this since i was catching herring on bc south coast, you would snag one every cast or feel one in your line, i think they must know a flood is coming so there gathering in big numbers in pools so there not swept away :)

Only problem was some guy( not to mention any race) came to the river and started casting over everyone and an argument almost boiled over, so two guys left because of this idiiot that was casting over everyone like he was a king, and that is when i started getting mad and the nsr is looking like a garbage people should clean up there bait containers and fishing line left behind, caught one fish that had fishing line wrapped around him, f&w was not to happy about all the bait containers and fishing line down at the spot i was fishing, not happy at all, dont blame them.

I agree. If you can't clean up your mess STAY HOME! I know the one place i fish on the nsr is totally littered with old fishing line and it's a mess.

i went to the river yesterday as well but had no luck at all.
we were jigging and i think the water is way to dirty, high and fast right now for jigging and spinning.

fishing was again awsome, slower then yesterday, burnt as a crisp:(, landed some nice sized walleye in the 2-3 pound range, water level is down a foot as well.
