You should have no problem when the river is flowing normally, however right now it is VERY fast and during the summer when they open the dam you will have trouble.

Whenever anchoring in any river at this time of year you should have some plan for letting that anchor go QUICK! should you need to. With the logs and debries that are coming down the rivers right now, you want to do more than just grab the gunnels and watch in dissbelief when a big log snags your anchor rope.
