Lake Chestermere

Hey has anyone here been to lake chestermere for perch? Im not expecting it to be that good because it's so close to calgary, but its like a 15 min drive from my house, but anyone got any info on it?

I have fished Chestermere for the last 6 years and never caught perch. Trout, white fish, pike, burbot and suckers.
Roumer has it the perch were good at the north dam ~ 15 years ago

I was at the Fishing derby there last year.
Seen a few come through the ice but not one legal pike was caught in the tournament. The prizes had to be drawn for.
Best part was I won $80.
Best luck was at the south end.
