Lesse Slave Lake Fishing

Has anyone been fishing lesser slave yet? How is it around Shaw's point/Hilliards bay? I'm thinking of heading up there in a week or two, I don't know if any fires came close to the north-west side of the lake but I figured this is a great place to ask.

I was out last week for four days in the faust area and the fishing is hot as always....fish are in real shallow yet but will be moving deeper quickly.

cant comment on the fire situation but give martin or ryan at shaws point a call and talk to them...good people and will tell you all you need to know
