Lots a talk about inflatables,..
So lets see what everyone is using and maybe we can help out some guys that are looking to buy one!! For me I use mine mainly for floating the Bow. Its great for fishing on ponds and lakes aswell!!

Anyway here's mine..Its a sheet of blue insulation foam cut and glued two thick. I then shaped it a little and glued a thin sheet of masionite on the top. The holes on the top of the floor are for a stool and a small battery compartment off the back for a small electric motor. The key is to NOT to inflate floor chambers with th floor in. I've been using this system for 3 years with no problems.

boat was on sale at Canadian Tire for $49.99
Foam free a left over from a job site $0.
Masonite was in the garage $0
Glue was in the garage $0

my total cost $49.99

I made a floor for mine as well, just used a piece of plywood and sanded the edges very well. blow up the floor, then slide it in under the seat that goes across the middle. I can even stand up in it if Im crazy enough, but havent used it since I got my pontoon, like it sooo much better!

it does look like it would float pretty good, wouldnt want to hook one on a backcast :sHa_sarcasticlol: that open mouth looks like it would be ideal for holding a can of beer!

Thx!!

here's mine

Ok thats funny!!
but really lets keep it real here guys, Some people can't afford a boat or a means to transport them. So inflatables are the only choice!!

Don't have to be brave, it is unbelievably stable with 4" of foam under you!!
I can stand no problem, similar to a standup paddle board yet even more stable with the double chamber!!
that being said I guess I am a bit of a nutcase somtimes!!lol

Have fished with inflatables before had an old CTC that I put a wood floor in then went to a canoe then kayak then pontoon. Have a 16 ft crestliner now but still have a 12 ft pelican johnboat and a float tub sometimes smaller is better
