I was going to PM you but just figured out your up Edmonton way. There is a lake down this end where the fishing has been spectacular and carry overs from past stocking years have got large and are very active. This weird weather has created a bite-on it seems even at places normally slower than usual. try small shiny streamers.

This might not help you right now but my wife got me this awesome book for christmas this year called Fishing the Canadian Rockies by Joey Ambrosi.
It has a complete breakdown of all the rivers, lakes and streams in the Canadian rockies. It is a great resource, I would suggest checkin it out, it will help you find some great mountain lakes that you would normally never hear about.
