Like Long lake for the perch in the winter but summer could be hard. Mons, havnt been there for a long time but used to do good there in the summer. I would go right on the edge of the weeds and drop a jig down and even cast a small 2" or smaller rubber tailed jig into the weeds and slowly real in. A bobber is good with the hook tipped with worms. Use the smallest bobber you got cause they sometime bite so light you wont see them.

Was at long lake couple weeks ago. Guys were catching them on tiny jigs with bright colored bodies, or minnow heads, or marshmallows, or maggots

they were fishing in 3.5 FOW. across fromt he park their is a little back water that you cna squeeze your boat into if you desire. Friends were catching them right in that area
