My guess is 32 lbs? Hopefully you got a replica mount done and let that old gal go. So others can have a chance at a fish of a lifetime. Very, very nice fish. WELL DONE

that is one sweet fish, for it's size it must be fairly old, and it's lines are beautiful, not much for scars normally found on such big gaters! Congrats!

that's a once and a lifetime fish for a lot of people, if he kept it no big deal, if he is gonna get a replica - that is great too. Awesome fish, congrats.

It is my understanding that it was caught in the NWT. So I guess it won't qualify for Alberta.

That's a nice fish too. Holding it like that with it away from your body makes it look bigger than it is. I think 45 or 46 and 27lbs? Am I close? BTW where was that fish taken?

thats a nice pike ..what lake... ... i caught a 48 inch 29.5 pounder out of lake newell by brooks a couple years ago fishing 4 walleyes in the wee morning ..out of the canal.using a lime green berkley worm jig .. i was all by my self fishing on the house side it was really steep..it was so hard to get the fish.on to shore... i bear hugged er and slung it up on shore weighed it measured it too....it was a beast ... let er go in the lake..but before i did there was a couple people there fishing .. they were like wow huge fish r u gunna let that go??.. i said dam rights .. its a big fish and it should live not be taken ... he got mad at me .. he said sumtin like he,s 45 and never caught big pike like this .(as he,s using pick rigs with minnows):. i think u should keep it .... i was like no ... i caught about 12 fish like this and never kept 1 of them ever ..what 12 ..ya big pike and muskie ... he rolled his eyes.. i said well i think i know why u dont catch big fish .. he said why ... i replied ur intensions r bad thats why ... mine r good ... he walked away .. i laughed all the way to my truck..... :sHa_shakeshout::bad_boys_20:
