A couple weeks ago it was good.....rushes and milfoil (weeds) are thick right now. If you get one you are going to have a tough time landing it pulling it through all the weeds.

Yeah you gotta hit it up pretty early in the spring for good shorefishing. Later in the summer a boat makes it alot more enjoyable. Mozzies are also HORRIBLE down there right now.
