Me and the bride went to Buck lake today. Got two walleye and four pike up through the hole with a few lost on the way up. The walleye were on a white 1/8 oz jig tipped with a minnow. The biggest jack was about 6 pounds.
Couldn't stay late but last year right at dusk we hit a walleye frenzy.
Ice is about 12 inches thick with just a few inches of snow on top.
Salty

South near Winfield. Went on the south boat launch in town, drove straight out about 600 meters, pass the point about 100 meters north. about 6 to 8 feet of water. Water was crystal clear

thats the spot and it is stones on the bottom. White jig head. Also if you follow the shore about 300 meters east and still 100 meters out is where we had great luck last year on walleye at last light. There is a single ice shack there now.
