My dad and i got there around 8 and spent two hours trying trout doe, marsh mellows and worms, fishing the bottom and surface. We were about to give up and go to crossfield so i put on a small spoon for my last few casts then bite after bite after bite but no landed fish but around 10 i landed my first of the day then i got two more with in half an hour. After the last one the bites stoped because it got to hot and the fish went deep. so my dad and i plan to go tomorrow an 6am. Ill post a pic soon :sHa_shakeshout:.

Good job. Next time, try a bobber with about 3 feet of leader and a tiny dry (size 16 green Elk Hair Caddis), or a 5-6 foot leader with a Hare's Ear, Zugbug, or bead headed Prince nymph. You should have no problem finding those fish with this set up. I was at crossfield the other day and it was DEAD. Maybe it was just too hot out.
By the way.....
"either you love the outdoors or your wrong "
unless you were trying to be ironic,
your should be spelled you're
your is possessive, as in: your car is red
you're is a contraction of "you are", as in "you're a good fisherman"
I really don't mean to belittle you, or to derail the thread. I simply feel there is always time for a review of grammar.
