Took a while to figure out what they wanted but once we did it was a great day. Water was clear, about a foot higher than summer time flows. Not a lot of hatches coming off

I dragged a few big flys looking for bull but only seen one come up for it and it was only about 14". Last year I hooked on to a cutty about 14" and had a large bull grab it . I got them both to shore then the bull let go and swam off, the cutty actually survived. Not the first time I've had bulls go after my catch

Watch out for fish cops... The bastards gave me a ticket on the weekend for not having my license on me, even though it was about 15 meters away from me in the vehicle.

Fishhunter7 not sure about the bulls tried for a while but only seen the one small one, if it stays hot it should improve the water conditions and maybe the bulls will pick up. Guitarplayingfish, sorry about your luck unfortunately regs say you have to have it on your person. I never seen any officers the day I was there, thought they would be all over the place

You should know better.
Ticket is deserved if you dont have your paperwork readily avaliable. Sorry, thems the breaks.

GPF, too bad about the ticket. Technically, of course, it does need to be on you, but you must have got a bit of a stickler.

Cuts were hitting nymphs pretty well at high elevations; streamers lower down; not much in the way of hatches, I agree.
