hey folks just wondering if there any places to fish from shore around that area? any success? heading up tomorrow for 6 days of working, just hoping to get out and throw a line....thanks again

Try off the dock at Fish'n Friends campground on Beaver Lake. 2 min drive from town. Use a slip-bobber and buy some leeches at the campground store.

I was just out there fishing from a boat yesterday and man is that a lake for fishing. Caught 9 jacks in an hour and a 16 pound keeper. A red and white spoon was the trick for us. So giver a shot and let us know how you do.

thanks for the info went to beaver lake yesterday after work pleasantly surprised they rent boats fo 25 an hour or 120 a day.....thought that was good, so three hours later we had 3 walleye 6 pike good time nice people, way too hot! lol
