went out today had a great day 5 on the ice 1 keeper, and 8 bites was a great day they were biting on a plastic jig and some were biting on smelts ice is about 16 inches or so ppl were driving on it bt we took the quad up

I am interested in going to Black Nugget for a camping trip this summer. Is one able to shore fish the lake? Has anyone shore fished with any luck there? I'm not looking for the "big one" just a few little ones to catch an release.

I was there last Saturday with couple friends for several hrs and did not catch or see any fish.

Too bad, the place looks perfect for camping/fishing.
