I know this has been talked about before, however, I have come into a 12ft. aluminum boat with slow leak on the rivet line just under the bow. What is the best fix? Drilling out the rivets and welding, or can I roll on some kind of sealant. It looks as though there was an attempted fix prior with an unsucceful weld job. Suggestions please!

Try rubberized under coating or box liner spray

Rule # 1 Never Try to REPOUND ON RIVETS !!!

All the stuff in a tube will just make a mess !!!
It will eventually leak again.

go on you tube and see HTS2000 aluminum repair.

was out on the west coast last year and this is what they
use on the big salmon aluminum boats .

your going to be amazed at this product !!!!

spray on rubber undercoating under the boat, have used this on lots of boats over the years also works on the camper roof.

Glove-it is what you need . 75 or more leaks and missing rivets which i replaced and 3 years later not a leak.A fellow outdoorsman will attest to that, as I've heard no complaints since he's bought the boat.
This stuff seeps into any crevice and is flexible so when your boat twists a couple inches it doesn't crack. google it.

one more time..... HTS2000 try Youtube for this stuff..

even if you dont currenlty have a problem with Aluminum,

you gotta see the videos on this stuff.

I think you have to buy it on the internet.
