Hi All. Went to McGregor on Tuesday. Water level seemed to be up a good foot from this time last year. Got in at Milo and went south a fair way before fishing. Walleye fishing was great. Lots of takes on minnows and gulp minnows. The day started off with a stiff wind out of the north and slowed as the day went by. Coming back to Milo about 6 PM the lake was glassy smooth which I had not seen before at McGregor. We bottom bounced, jigged and did some casting and fish were biting all day. Most fish caught in 15 to 25 feet of water. Got a few pike as well but we were targeting walleys. Most fish were 15 to 18 inches, Some under, none over. Had a great day. Rick.
